So Beauty - The Story
From the sly villain to the noble sidekick; from the wise sage to the overachieving student, Asian males have long been confined to secondary roles in Hollywood. Alongside their Caucasian counterparts, they would aid in battle, work to solve the mystery, help to save the day, and often times stand by only to watch the other guys get the girls…until now.

So Beauty, a comedy that follows four Asian friends in their separate quests for romance, opens the window into the mind of Asian men and their outlook on dating.

Kevin (RANDY NAKAGAWA), James (JAMIE TSAO), Ming (JARRETT CHIN), and Sherman (ARTHUR LEUNG) are doing the usual - playing poker on Friday night. After a couple of beers, they start talking about their dating experiences and realize society has stuck them at the bottom of the dating hierarchy where even Asian women place them a cool second. As they delve deeper into each others' experiences, they begin to realize a different approach is necessary.

Kevin decides it's time to try something new. They hatch a plan that will change their outlook on not only dating, but life as well.

Can the guys succeed in this new adventure? Or will they fail dismally because they cannot overcome the stereotypes of being an Asian man?
